Yes, but please remember to mail or drop off your original documentation as soon as possible. We recognize that the 7-day deadline required by Medi-cal can be difficult for nurses that do not live local to our office. Nursing Notes and other documentation can be electronically submitted with your timesheet following electronic submission guidelines to meet this deadline. Original documentation can then be sent to the office at a later date. Email documentation to payroll@alliedpn.com or fax it to 888-480-7791.
The nurse that is working the last shift of the Sunday-Saturday week is responsible for submitting the Medication and Treatment Records with their standard documentation for the week.
Medi-cal guidelines require documentation to be received in the office within seven days of working a shift. If one or more documents were not received, a text will be sent via an automated service letting you know there is missing paperwork. If needed, paperwork can be electronically submitted and original documents mailed or dropped off at a later date to stay in compliance with APNC and Medi-cal policies and procedures.
MD orders also include two carbon copies, the pink page should be put into the patient's home chart, and the white and yellow pages should be submitted to the office with your documentation.
